Hospice of Western Kentucky would like to say Congratulations to Jessica and Dennie Armes on the celebration of their wedding Saturday, February 21st, 2015. Jessica's father James Burnett was a patient of ours and his final wish was to give his blessing for his daughter's future wedding. On Thursday, January 8th, just a day before Mr. Burnett's passing his wish came true. At the Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky, Mr. Burnett got to see his daughter Jessica walk down the aisle in her beautiful dress to make not only his wish come true but a memory that will last a lifetime for Jessica Armes. Thank you to all those involved in making this moment possible. Congratulations to Jessica and Dennie Armes from the team at Hospice of Western Kentucky. To view the video click here.
We feel very honored to have been nominated for the Owensboro Chamber Members of the Year award. We cannot say "thank you" enough to the many families, businesses and community leaders that support our mission and growing organization. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are truly honored.
"It's not just physical. It's not just emotional. Hospice knows that there's a spiritual element to the lives of our patients and especially during the end-of-life process." -Mark Poiles, Spiritual Counselor, Hospice of Western Kentucky Hear more from our Spiritual Counselors and their ministry to patients and their families in Hospice care here.
